I was 10-minutes from picking up my 4-month old daughter from Daycare when the sadness hit me. I found myself tearing up, feeling empathy, compassion, and loss. Earlier in the day, I had interviewed a veteran who wakes up everynight with the same nightmare. He sees the face of the 10-year-old boy he was foced to kill in Iraq. The face is stoic, devoid of humanity, a mere pawn in the continuing struggle in Iraq. This vet, diagnosed with Post-traumatic stress disorder, conveyed to me earlier that morning why he has these nightmares.

BLUF: It's not RTCW, it won't re-unite the old RTCW community, and no amount of modding will fix it. It's a mediocre game at best. I don't see a real reason to play it rather than RTCW. Or CoD. Or BF1942. And certainly not BF1943.
First, the worst thing of all is the sound. The MG43 sounds like someone playing a very tinny drum kit. The Panzerfaust sounds like a slow-moving jet on take-off.

I've actually been thinking of writing a blog regarding my experience in WoW. Mainly it would be reviewing how I ended up leading a guild since I started the game with no experience with MMOs. I dunno...
