2 medium to large pocket breads (you call them "pita" bread here).

Picante sauce (yes, Picante sauce) of whatever style, Hot/Medium/Chunky/Etc.

Shredded Kashkaval cheese (there's that cheese again, what's SauerKraut on about?). You can use mozzerella if you're a weenie and don't feel like going out and buying KASHKAVAL cheese and pampering your tastebuds.

Any other topping you wish (pepperoni, etc.) or none at all.

pop in 350 oven for 10 minutes, you'll have a sexy, crispy pizza that tastes marvelous.

OK, first off, if I were to go into a market in Montgomery, Alabama, and ask for Kashkaval cheese... well you figure it out.

Second, do you put the ingredients INSIDE the pita or what?

I would assume you use the pita as a crust and just lay it down flat and cover with sauce and even in the deep south the deli and cheese dept. at a major grocery chain should carry it or look for speciality food shop (european , french , greek , german all semi-large cities have them)

Oh, sorry. Yeah, the stuff goes on the top. Pita bread gets nice and crunchy (yet semi-soft in the middle).

And if you have any russians in Montegomery whatsoever, there is bound to be a russian store there. They'll have kashkaval (http://tangragroup.com/kashkaval.htm) for sure.

If you find yourself unlucky enough to not have a russian or greek ethnic store, i HIGHLY recommend you ordering it online (probably a lot cheaper, anyway). And don't get the kind from Turkey or Crete or Cyprus. Only from Bulgariya or NORTHERN Greece. The rest will taste just like normal yellow cheese mildly cheddar like, which REAL kashkaval tastes nothing like at all.
