Something my mom got from one of her Phillipine coworkers years ago, drasticallys simplyfied by me for use with a 5 cup blender:
Take 4-5 lbs of chicken pieces: drumsticks, wings, breasts, whatever you can get on sale.
Toss this into your blender:
2-3 large onions cut into pieces (will fill up blender and come down to about 2 cups when chopped)
1/2 cup Maggi Seasoning (can be hard to find in large bottles, but almost any store should have the smaller ones)
1 1/2 tbsp Sambal Oelek (Asian Chili Paste - HOT!)
3 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp salt (rather optional depending on your soy sauce and your tastebuds - Maggi has quite a bit of salt already)
Fill up rest of blender with soy sauce and let it run for a while on it's highest setting
Add chicken to a large Ziplock bag and add marinade. Mix it up some so everything is covered. Put bag in freezer at least overnight, better about 18 hours.
When ready, cover cookie sheets or glass pans with aluminum foil. Take chicken out of bag and shake off excess marinade, but make sure to leave some on it. Place on cooking surface leaving some, but not too much space in between pieces. Shove everything into oven and cook until done. Cooking time varies depending on what pieces of chicken you're using, so I'm not being specific here. You could also cook on your grill, but be prepared for things getting somewhat messy unless you keep the marinade from dripping into your fire and sticking to the grill. The onions will caramelize, so make sure to watch your temperature unless you like it black...
