Need a digital Camera

My last camera has died a slow and painful death any recommendations for a new one??

Well, I'm no expert but it depends on features. Are you looking for something small & pocket sized, or something like a digital SLR that takes breathtaking detail?

If the latter, I can highly recommend the Nikon D-70 (not that I ever get to use it, but I've seen the results).

Im a big photography buff, and like bat said, it depends on what type of digi your looking for, I have the D70 and the D2X, I highly recommend the D70 for everyday use and the price, and for some great pictures, but whatever you get, dont go below 5 megapixels.....

the price is a bit high if you're looking for just a good "snapshot" cam, and it's also a lot bigger than the pocket-sized ones... but if you're up for carrying around something like a traditional SLR, i don't think you can beat the d70 for quality, flexibility and options.

i read in a science magazine that someone invented a 1-gigapixel camera, its photos are literally mural-sized with even the minutest details still clear and readable.

get one of those :D

Not looking for an SLR mostly still pictures of family and my new son. 5-6mpx range. Link is kinda what I was thinking about.

I have a bunch of SD cards so the Sony is out of the question. I really don't want to buy anymore storage cards.
