Default Thoughts on Intel CPUs current & future

Just wondering if any peeps ever upgraded to a Haswell processor and what your thoughts are? I've started looking, even though I am not really planning a new (full) rebuild till sometime next fall, although I may target a full rebuild for earlier, but based on this article in May 2014, looks like my build may be next fall.

current build is still running strong, with BF4, Batman Origins, etc. all ultra settings, and I suspect it will run Arkham Knight, Borderlands 3, etc. maxed out:

I just built an i7 4790K/Asus Z97-A system. Except for one small issue with WIndows 7 it's running everything on "high".
Imagine if you'd spent as many hours practicing with a musical instrument as you have spent playing video games.
